with Deep Ellum

On April 7, 1933, President Franklin Roosevelt took the first step toward ending Prohibition and signed a law that allowed the good people of our country to brew and sell beer. Beer drinkers celebrated and were happy to be able to purchase beer again for the first time in thirteen years.

Did you know?

Beer is the world’s most widely consumed alcoholic beverage. Following water and tea, it is the third most popular drink overall.
Beginning tomorrow afternoon join us at any of these Deep Ellum draft/can locations, grab a beer, spend some time with friends and celebrate National Beer Day!

Hi-ho! It’s our favorite time of the year! We’re releasing a very special year-round to our lineup. One that holds quite a story for our neighborhood, Local Legend.
Last year, Jameson Irish Whiskey invited us to come to their distillery in Ireland to meet with the people who make Jameson.
We were one of five for the Jameson “Drinking Buddies” program, highlighting our distinct craft beer collaboration with Jameson barrels.
After a long journey, Irish distilling education and a week of sharing some of the finest whiskey on Earth with friends, they sent us home with their barrels in which we aged a Jameson Edition of this legendary Local Legend.
Stop on by The Kellig this Thursday and tell us what you think! We’ve invited Jameson to join the Irish holiday with whiskey shot specials and DEBC beers.
This is one Local Legend we must share with you! Stay for one, stay for many. Just be sure to Irish goodbye!
Local Legend
A Sweet Stout with notes of vanilla and caramel, hints of licorice with flavors of rich mouthfeel from the flaked barley, impressions of dark chocolate and roasted grains as well as an uncommon smoothness.
ABV 6.0% – IBU 23
